1/27 Texas Birding Day 6 Laguna Atascosa NWR

Paul and Fran Bauer and Lois and I traveled to the Lower Rio Grande Valley the end of January
to see many birds that I have never seen. We returned along the gulf though lower Louisiana.

Most of the birds were seen on the 11? mile one-way loop and many Long-billed Curlews were seen along the shore. After the loop we spent a couple extra hours searching for the Aplomado Falcon with no luck.
