A very rare visitor to Missouri showed up in the Missouri bootheel.
A Ferruginous Hawk. This is the largest of the North American Buteos.
It was located at the intersection of Hwy TT & 703 in Dunklin County, Missouri.
The Ferruginous Hawk is No. 353 on my Lifetime List of Bird Species Photographed in Missouri.
