A Lazuli Bunting was found in a RV park on the south side of Bean Lake. After seeing and photographing it on 5/03 we stopped on our way home to hopefully to get another view of this rare bird in Missouri. We found it perched on a tree branch momentarily before if disappeared.
A few of the birds seen, complete set and larger sizes in gallery.

I'm just an amateur that loves to capture the beauty around us. Nothing escapes me, be it bugs, animals, especially birds, landscapes, sunsets, infrared or macros, if it’s moving or not. After retiring from the Aerospace industry after 40 years I've been able to concentrate on birding and photographing them.
Please feel free to browse my many galleries.
