Western Tanager - St. Louis County
A rare Western Tanager showed up at a birders house. Needless to say, many went to see it.
It is No. 349 on my list of Bird Species Photographed in Missouri.

I'm just an amateur that loves to capture the beauty around us. Nothing escapes me, be it bugs, animals, especially birds, landscapes, sunsets, infrared or macros, if it’s moving or not. After retiring from the Aerospace industry after 40 years I've been able to concentrate on birding and photographing them.
Please feel free to browse my many galleries.
