12/04 Anna's Hummingbird

A lady in Springfield, Mo was gazing out her front window when she spotted a hummingbird looking over her artificial flowers on the porch. She hung out a feeder and was rewarded with a rare Missouri visitor, an Anna's Hummingbird. Word got out and many birders, including us, got to see it. It is No. 343 on my list of Bird Species Photographed in Missouri.
